What the South Side Houses Need

Window and Siding work on the south side means matching what is there on houses from the 1900s through the 1930s. Kingfield's Colonial Revivals and Craftsman bungalows went up between 1903 and 1914. Hale and Field homes were built in the 1920s and 1930s in stucco, brick, and stone. Armatage is the exception, with homes built from 1949 to 1969. Before any house here sells, it needs a full Truth in Sale of Housing report.

What Changes Across Minnehaha Creek

The creek and the parkway split the work. North of Minnehaha Creek, Kingfield, Lynnhurst, and Tangletown have the oldest houses here, including Kingfield's Craftsman bungalows. The Lynnhurst and Church of the Incarnation blocks sit in historic districts where exterior changes need approval first. South of it, Hale, Keewaydin, and Wenonah have 1920s bungalows on flat lots, while Diamond Lake has larger mid-century lots. The August 2023 hail hit these blocks too.
